Celebrate your unique talent day is the real deal!

Have you ever taken a class at Red Fox? I have attended a few workshops now. Before I go, I imagine I will be returning home with a piece destined for the Louvre. In my mind, I’m creative and artsy and fabulous, but when the rubber hits the road, or in this case, the paint hits the paper, I crumble. I’m entirely indecisive, and a strange wave of fear washes over me. What if this looks terrible? Red can’t go by blue! What if I waste all this time and money? What if I put the brush down and inch further from where I wanted it and its there FOREVER? PANIC.

Yep…that’s my unique talent. Over-thinking my decisions and undervaluing my potential. I think we can all be a bit guilty of that though…right? Somebody? Anybody?

But that’s why I go to Red Fox. Because Kristin’s super awesome unique talent (among MANY others) is embracing my chaotic mind, settling my doubts and making me feel like that creative, artsy and fabulous being!

Today, I have a small wall in my office where I proudly display the pieces I’ve created to other people, and I’m damn proud of them! And just like Kristin promised, the more I take time out to create, the less chaotic my mind is, and the more confident I feel leaving my mark.
